CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES
The Digital Convergence in Economics, Society and Technology - DCEST 2026, with the theme: "Impact of Digital Technology on Economic Growth and Social Development in the Modern Era" aims to address approaches and adaptations for the Digital Age—a new era for the country’s ascension. It seeks to concretize the national science and technology development strategy, which identifies science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as the "golden key".

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear Esteemed Scientists, Faculty Members, and UMT Students!
Following the success of the UMT Scientific Conference on Economics, Society, and Technology 2024 (DCEST 2024), 2026 – the year of a new era, an era of national ascension – marks a significant milestone as UMT elevates this event to the DCEST UMT 2026 International Conference.
The DCEST UMT 2026 International Conference is honored to be co-organized by prestigious partners, including Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Indonesia; and the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM). This early step reflects our commitment to international integration and raising UMT’s academic standing on the regional and global research map.
Under the theme: "Impact of Digital Technology on Economic Growth and Social Development in the Modern Era," the DCEST UMT 2026 International Conference aims to clarify the leading role of AI, digital platforms, and new technology ecosystems in innovating growth models and social governance. The conference is not just an academic forum, but also a space for multicultural and interdisciplinary collaboration – a place where knowledge converges, experiences are shared, and domestic and international research networks are established.
Especially, this year’s conference is honored to welcome leading speakers such as Prof. Ngô Bảo Châu (University of Chicago, USA), Assoc. Prof. Trần Gia Khánh (Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan), and Prof. Hồ Tú Bảo (Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics), along with Prof. Dedi Purwana E.S., M.Bus (Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia), to share research/works/projects of high academic value. Furthermore, specialized workshop sessions are professionally organized, focusing on key areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Economy, Applied Mathematics, Communication, and Applied Arts. The presentations will not only reflect the connection between theory and practice but also open up groundbreaking policy directions, contributing to the promotion of sustainable development in the digital age.
